Everyday Ledger / Interscope studio project

STATUS
Original in-house demonstration. No external client, live audience, platform deployment or sending results are claimed.

BRIEF
Make economic measures feel understandable without claiming that a national average describes every household. Let readers express interests without building an intrusive financial profile.

READER
An adult reader looking for clear explanations of household financial questions and the economic news around them.

DESIGN DECISION
The proposed preference design offers broad topics such as prices, saving concepts and everyday economics. It does not ask for income, account balances, debt or investment holdings.

REFERENCE PLATFORM
Braze — Canvas
The reference plan uses a Canvas welcome path and a publication subscription group. A declared topic can shape content inside the same title; it does not authorize another subscription.
Official reference: https://www.braze.com/product/email
This is a mapping specification, not an exported ESP configuration.

SEQUENCE
1. Direct subscription: Store the title requested, consent wording and source of the request.
2. Welcome & expectations: Introduce the editorial format and optional topic preferences.
3. Preference branch: A declared topic selects a starting point; no preference receives the general edition.
4. Weekly briefing: Keep the same publication identity and check opt-out state before every send.

AUDIENCE RULES
Topics: Prices & inflation, saving concepts, or everyday economics. No topic choice is required.
Permission: A title-level subscription remains separate from content preferences.
Fallback: Unknown or missing topic values receive the general edition, without inferred financial traits.
Stop conditions: A publication unsubscribe, global suppression, complaint or hard bounce stops future messages.

MEASUREMENT PLAN (NO RESULTS CLAIMED)
Preference coverage: Declared selections and the general-edition fallback, without inferred household profiles.
Content relevance: Filtered clicks and voluntary reader feedback by topic.
Delivery quality: Delivery failures, complaints and opt-outs reviewed before expanding a sequence.

TRANSITION TO A PUBLICATION
Establish title ownership and the editorial calendar; create a publication-specific signup and web archive; preserve consent scope and suppression on any approved migration. These sample emails do not create a subscription.
