Scope & operator

This notice covers the Interscope Finance Media email-updates signup, subscriber records and unsubscribe process. The operator is Interscope Finance Media LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. It supplements our corporate Privacy Policy and does not cover subscriptions collected separately by individual publications.

Information collected

We collect the email address you submit, any optional first name, last name, country or region and topic preferences you provide, and a record of the subscription request: its timestamp, the signup page, and the consent wording and version presented to you. We also retain the subscription status and any opt-out timestamp. We normalize the email address to lowercase to prevent duplicate entries.

Names, country or region and interests are optional and help us personalize and select relevant communications. You can subscribe without them. We do not infer your country from your IP address for your subscriber profile. Topic choices are preferences, not separate marketing consent or a promise of particular coverage.

This is a single opt-in process. The form does not send a confirmation email or independently verify that the person submitting it controls the address. A saved record reflects the submitted request, not independent proof of address ownership.

For proportionate abuse prevention, the service temporarily uses a keyed, pseudonymous identifier derived from the requesting IP address and a single-use form identifier. These temporary records expire after two hours and are removed by a scheduled cleanup every two hours. The subscriber table does not store raw IP addresses. Hosting and security services may separately process IP addresses and technical request logs.

Purposes & your choice

We use subscriber information to manage the mailing list and send financial news, market commentary and promotional offers from Interscope Finance Media LLC. Frequency varies. Joining is free.

The signup does not authorize SMS or telephone marketing, enroll you with an advertiser, or authorize advertisers to email you independently. We do not provide signup addresses to advertisers for their own email marketing. Promotional offers may appear in messages sent by Interscope.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on your consent for the email updates, legitimate interests for proportionate abuse prevention and subscription administration, and legal obligations where applicable. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Storage, providers & access

Cloudflare provides hosting and database infrastructure for this signup service. Authorized personnel may access or export subscriber records for mailing-list administration, responding to privacy requests and the other purposes described here. Records and exports are not made publicly available.

Service providers acting on our behalf may process information where needed to host, secure or administer the list and deliver our messages. The form itself saves a record; it does not immediately send an email or transfer the entry into a publication’s separate subscription platform. Any later email-delivery service must process records under appropriate arrangements and the applicable notice.

Information may also be disclosed where lawfully necessary for a legal obligation, professional advice, a dispute or a business transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards, as explained in the corporate Privacy Policy.

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate. Where applicable law requires international-transfer safeguards, that processing must use a lawful mechanism. Contact us about safeguards relevant to your information.

Cookies & technical processing

The signup code does not use advertising pixels, analytics scripts, marketing cookies or browser storage to save your email. It uses a short-lived form token held in the page while you complete it. Infrastructure services may apply essential security technologies.

This notice does not promise that future emails or independent third-party destinations have identical technical settings. Materially different tracking or use of information requires the relevant notice and any choice or consent required by law.

Withdrawal & retention

Unsubscribe from this list at any time or contact sharmin@interscopefinancemedia.com. No account or payment is required. Every marketing email sent from this list must include an unsubscribe mechanism. A personalized unsubscribe link identifies the relevant subscriber; do not publish or share another person’s link.

An opt-out changes any matching subscriber record to unsubscribed and adds a keyed suppression identifier. This also prevents an opted-out address from being automatically enrolled again through the public form. The response does not reveal whether the address was already in the database.

We keep subscriber records while reasonably necessary to manage the subscription and related obligations. After an opt-out, limited suppression and consent records may be retained to respect that choice, prevent unwanted re-enrollment and meet applicable obligations. A deletion request does not necessarily require removing information needed for suppression. Contact us to discuss retention, deletion or a requested change to a prior opt-out.

Separate publications have their own subscription records and unsubscribe routes. This form does not operate a universal preference center for those lists.

Your rights & requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain processing, obtain a copy, appeal a decision or complain to a competent regulator. Rights are subject to lawful conditions and exceptions.

Contact sharmin@interscopefinancemedia.com with the address concerned and the requested action, or use Privacy Choices. We may request proportionate verification before disclosing or deleting information. Do not send passwords, financial account information or identity documents with an initial request. We respond within any period required by the law that applies and do not penalize the exercise of applicable rights.

Security, age & updates

We use measures designed to restrict unauthorized access, including encrypted transport on the public website, restricted exports and server-side input checks. No system can guarantee absolute security.

The email updates are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Please do not submit a child’s information. Contact sharmin@interscopefinancemedia.com if you believe such information has been collected so that we can investigate and respond appropriately.

Material changes to collection or use will receive appropriate notice and, where required, additional consent. The effective date identifies this version. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
