HOW WE WORK

Publishing is
a relationship.
Operations sustain it.

Interscope brings publication development, audience operations and commercial media into one company. The publication’s identity and the reader’s choices give that work its boundaries.

A close view of layered printed pages

ONE COMPANY. DISTINCT PUBLICATIONS.

A shared foundation.
A purpose for every title.

EMAIL EXPERIENCE. A NEW PUBLISHING MODEL.

From a campaign
to an editorial home.

Our background is in email campaigns and testing different delivery platforms. We are developing a model that connects an ongoing publication, a web archive and permission-based email editions.

THE EMAIL WORKFLOW

Audience. Message. Delivery.

Campaign systems bring audience data, message production, journeys and delivery reporting together.

THE PUBLICATION MODEL

Identity. Archive. Reader relationship.

A publication gives the content a persistent home, a recognizable editorial purpose and an ongoing subscription that the reader chooses.

PLATFORM CONTEXT

The wider email ecosystem.

Examples of established platforms in this category, and the types of workflows they support.

These are industry references, not a record of Interscope deployments or vendor partnerships. No delivery platform is currently assigned to the editorial concepts in this portfolio.

THE PUBLISHING MODEL

Shared capabilities.
Specific responsibilities.

Editorial development, production, distribution and commercial operations are connected disciplines. The scope of each publication or engagement determines how they are brought together.

Publication identity
The subject, intended reader, editorial voice and formats define the publication.
Reader relationship
The signup identifies what the reader is joining. Subscription preferences belong to that relationship.
Commercial context
Placement format, disclosures, permitted channels and reporting expectations belong in the campaign brief.
Operating scope
Ownership, access and responsibilities need to be explicit when working with another publisher.

OUR WORKING APPROACH

From the brief
to the next edition.

A framework for defining publishing work. The deliverables and responsibilities are agreed for each engagement.

  1. 01

    Define the publication.

Set its subject, reader, purpose and formats. Establish which work sits with Interscope and which stays with the publication or partner.

    Publication brief
  2. 02

    Shape the edition.

Develop the material, its supporting sources and presentation. Keep commercial messages identifiable within the reader experience.

    Editorial & creative scope
  3. 03

    Set the distribution boundaries.

Identify the sender, subscription source and intended audience. Confirm the permissions and opt-out requirements relevant to that list.

    Audience & channel plan
  4. 04

    Review the work.

Check the agreed deliverables and available reporting. Use reader feedback, corrections and campaign findings to inform the next edition.

READER PERMISSIONS

A clear choice
at every entry point.

The corporate email list has its own purpose. Future publication subscriptions need equally clear, separate choices before a reader submits an address.

01 / CORPORATE EMAIL UPDATES

A direct request to Interscope.

The corporate form saves the reader’s request, source page, timestamp, consent wording and optional preferences. It is a single opt-in form; address ownership is not independently confirmed by email.

02 / PUBLICATION SUBSCRIPTIONS

A separate publication relationship.

Each publication needs a signup that identifies its own subject, sender and subscription. The editorial concepts shown here are not yet accepting separate subscriptions. Joining the corporate list does not enroll the reader in those concepts.

03 / BUSINESS INQUIRIES

A conversation about work.

The corporate contact form prepares an email for the sender to review and send. It does not create a newsletter subscription or add the contact to the corporate subscriber database.

Reader choices have a scope.

The corporate unsubscribe route applies to the corporate list. Publication-specific subscriptions will require their own controls before launch. Topic preferences alone do not authorize enrollment in additional publications.

EDITORIAL & COMMERCIAL

Commercial context
belongs in the open.

Our publishing standard is to identify sponsored placements and material affiliate relationships. The reader should be able to recognize a commercial message where it appears.

Independent editorial conclusions remain separate from paid placements. A partnership discussion covers the offer, audience, creative requirements, restrictions and the work to be delivered.
