01 / The brief
Make the subscription clear from the start.
The corporate website needed a dedicated route for readers who wanted emails from Interscope Finance Media. A business inquiry and an email subscription serve different purposes; the experience needed to make that distinction easy to understand.
The project brought the signup page, the subscriber record, the privacy notice and the unsubscribe route into one consistent experience.
02 / The reader experience
A familiar identity. A specific choice.
The page carries the corporate website’s typography, photography and green palette into a focused subscription experience. It identifies the sender and explains that emails may include financial news, market commentary and promotional offers.
Email and an affirmative consent checkbox are required. First name, last name, country or region and topic preferences are optional. Readers can choose among twelve financial interests without having to complete a long profile.
03 / Subscription records
Keep the request and its context together.
The saved request includes the email address, optional profile information, chosen interests, signup timestamp, source page, and the wording and version of consent. The company can export records for subscription administration.
This is a single opt-in form. It records the submitted request; it does not send a confirmation email or independently verify ownership of the address. Topic preferences are not consent to join other publications.
04 / Reader controls
Leaving should be as clear as joining.
A public unsubscribe page allows a reader to submit their address without creating an account. Personalized unsubscribe links are also supported. An opt-out changes the subscriber’s status and prevents automatic re-enrollment through the public form.
The subscription has its own privacy notice and terms, linked next to the form. These explain the data collected, the scope of the subscription, the role of service providers and how to make a privacy request.
05 / What was delivered
A defined release, with a defined scope.
The signup, receipt page, unsubscribe route and subscriber notices were launched on the corporate domain in September 2026. Record creation, optional fields, export and opt-out behavior were checked using a test record, which was removed after the check.
The release covers signup and list administration. Automated email delivery was not included. The corporate form does not automatically transfer subscribers into the separate lists maintained by individual publications.
