IN-HOUSE DEMONSTRATION

The Allocation Letter

An investment idea, given room to breathe.

01 / THE BRIEF

Build a sequence around understanding.

Turn an investment concept into a readable lesson. The email needs enough structure for a quick scan and enough depth for a reader who chooses to stay.

The opening letter establishes the question. The main edition explains a hypothetical example. A follow-up asks the reader to apply the same question elsewhere, without turning it into personalized advice.

THE READER

A self-directed reader looking for explanations of investment structures, rather than individual buy or sell recommendations.

02 / THE CREATIVE

Made to be read.

An ivory letter with an original collage, a considered essay and a worked portfolio-overlap calculation. A recurring margin note covers a related concept, followed by a primary-source reading desk.

03 / THE READER JOURNEY

Every message
has a reason.

A designed campaign sequence, with entry rules and stop conditions. Timing below is part of the specification, not an active automation.

  1. 01

    Publication signup

Record the requested title separately from the contact’s general profile.

  2. 02

    The opening letter

Introduce the educational scope and the three-part reading format.

  3. 03

The main lesson · +3 days

Send the explanation only while this publication’s permission remains active.

  4. 04

    The follow-up · +7 days

Recap the central question; prevent overlap with a scheduled edition.

REFERENCE IMPLEMENTATION

Salesforce

Marketing Cloud Engagement

The specification uses an audience data extension, modular email content and a Journey Builder sequence. Subscriber identity and publication permission are treated as separate fields.

Configuration study. This project has not been deployed or send-tested in this platform.

Identity
Use a stable contact key; an email address is a delivery field, not the only record of identity.
Entry
An active, title-specific subscription and a permitted acquisition source.
Frequency
One education message per scheduled step; defer a recurring edition if the planned sends overlap.
Exit
A withdrawal, complaint or suppression event removes eligibility for the next message.

THE MEASUREMENT PLAN

What we would look at.

The reporting framework defined for this campaign. These are planned measures; results require a live launch.

Sequence progression

Eligible entries, successful sends and exits at each step.

Content response

Filtered unique clicks to the explanation and primary reference.

Reader friction

Opt-outs by sequence step, together with replies and corrections.

04 / THE PROJECT FILES

Open the work.

The same editorial system can support a standalone letter and a structured learning sequence without changing the reader promise.
