STUDIO PROJECT / 01
IN-HOUSE DEMONSTRATIONAn editorial email system built around one good question, a short explanation and the source behind the story.
A sale today, cash next month—and three ways into an annual report.
THE QUESTION / THE CONTEXT / THE SOURCE01 / THE BRIEF
Make a markets email that is useful even when the reader only has a few minutes. Give it a recognizable structure without reducing financial stories to isolated numbers.
A sharply framed question creates a reason to read. The answer stays close to the underlying financial statement, while recurring briefing and reading-list sections give each edition a familiar rhythm.
A curious reader who follows business news but does not want a stream of trading alerts.
02 / THE CREATIVE
A compact masthead, an original editorial collage and a complete reading edition: the lead story, a worked hypothetical example, a second briefing and a curated primary-source reading list.
Reading edition selected.
03 / THE READER JOURNEY
A designed campaign sequence, with entry rules and stop conditions. Timing below is part of the specification, not an active automation.
A direct request for Opening Note, with the notice version and signup source.
Explain the format and the reader’s subscription controls.
Recheck permission and suppression before the sample reading edition.
A separate weekly schedule after the welcome sequence is complete.
REFERENCE IMPLEMENTATION
The implementation plan maps a publication signup to a Studio journey, with a welcome message, a source-led sample edition and explicit exit conditions.

THE MEASUREMENT PLAN
The reporting framework defined for this campaign. These are planned measures; results require a live launch.
Unique, filtered source-link clicks per delivered edition.
Hard bounces, complaints and unsubscribe events, reviewed by acquisition source.
Compare questions and topics over several editions; opens alone do not establish readership.
04 / THE PROJECT FILES
A financial email can have a strong editorial identity without relying on market predictions or noisy urgency.
